JaMIE WATSON

Jamie Watson (singer/songwriter) has been entertaining professionally Jamie Watsonfor 12 years, in that time he has worked some of the major venues up and down the country including the former London Hippodrome, Stringfellows, Bolts, Bournemouth, the Dome, Brighton, the International Riviera Centre, Torquay, the Printworks, Manchester and Delmonicas, Glasgow.

Jamie has worked internationally in such countries as Cyprus, Spain, Australia and Germany. Jamie has tirelessly helped raise money for various charities by either organising and hosting the event or giving up his time to appear in them.

Jamie has achieved popularity with his 1995 Dance track ‘All Cried out’ which remained at the number one slot for four months in the national hi-energy dance charts. Other releases charted overseas, with ‘Hold me now’ entering the charts in Australia in 1997. Consequently his tracks have appeared on a number of compilation albums during the 90s

Whilst taking a break from recording in 2002, Jamie makes a welcome return in 2006 with new recording projects in the pipeline and is currently working with 2 different production companies on new releases. Jamie is known most for performing dance tracks and whilst continuing to work with Brick Hit House productions on a number of new dance tracks, Jamie is diversifying with the launch of a new show centred on big band and swing music. Jamie’s extensive range includes covering some of the top show tunes of the 20th century.
Jamie also enjoys his very successful long running ladies/hen nights and has appeared in the highly acclaimed Adonis Cabaret show.

More recently Jamie has been signed to Lee’s people casting agency and has recently been filming a channel 4 promotional video.
Jamie continues to receive high acclaim for his live performances and was in 2006 and 2007 voted runner up for best performer at a major cabaret/lifestyle awards poll.

In 2006 Jamie has appeared at some of the country’s major shows and venues: July saw Jamie appear on main stage at the 2nd and hugely popular Lewisham Pride in conjunction with Lewisham Peoples Day. August saw Jamie appear on main stage at the largest free festival in Europe Brighton and Hove Pride. September saw Jamie appear on stage at one of the largest Mardis Gras events in the UK, Cardiff Mardis Gras. December saw Jamie appear at two highly successful corporate events, a massive charity gala at the International Riviera Centre, Torquay and also headline the awesome Fire and Ice celebrity gala at the Printworks, Manchester

2007 is promising to be even better: Jamie Watson, has recently been busy in the recording studio recording 2 tracks at WGiC studio's a new dance track of the popular Erasure number, Stop! and Depeche Modes, "Just can't get enough" with another 4 in the pipe line.
Jamie's show is hysterically funny and hugely entertaining to say the least, with an incredible vocal range and the over the top camp comedy in place, he will have your audiences crying with laughter with his ability to entertain. 
With a play list containing hundreds of songs from dance to power ballads and big band to show tunes, there’s something there for everyone.
This year Jamie is set to appear at no less than 10 Pride events held up and down the country.
