Guy Chinery trained for 3 years at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music guy chineryand Drama in Glasgow, before moving to London in 2001.
Since graduating, he has played various professional stage roles, including the Sargeant/Rudi Shultz in A Murder is Announced, John Proctor in The Crucible, ‘Boxer’ in Animal Farm and Tom Buchanan in The Great Gatsby.
His most enjoyable role was that of ‘Craig’ in the 2001 and 2003 UK Tours of Ladies Night for New Palm Productions.
His Panto work includes the role of ‘Smash’ in Puss in Boots, Shere Khan in the Jungle Book, and the Title roles in Tarzan and the Animals and the Wizard of Oz.
Guy’s film credits include the role of ‘Marcellus’ in Cromwell Productions ‘Hamlet’, a film for which he was also accredited with the Fight Direction.

Guy moved to Brighton in 2003 and dropped out of the Acting game to start his own business. He is a qualified Personal Fitness Trainer and the owner of Gymboree Brighton, working with pre-school children from Newborn to age 5.

Guy is very excited about having the opportunity to get back on stage and work with some of Brighton’s most distinguished Artistes! “I’ve never been on stage with a listed building before!” said Guy, “Should be fun!
