BRIAN RALFE

Brian has produced many, many shows in and around Brighton over the brian ralfepast 30 years. His first was ‘The Sounds of the 60’s at the Brighton Dome in 1974 starring many well known faces of the time such as The Kaye Sisters, Ruby Murray and Larry Grayson to name just a few, he was also the producer of ‘The Dorothy Squires Show’ also at the Brighton Dome, which played to a full house. In the 1980’s Brian produced ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’ at the Brighton Centre starring Dave Lynn as well as ‘A Night of 100 Stars’ at the Dome, again another hot show with funds being raised for Brighton Cares. His involvement with the celebrity world dates back to the 1970’s with the first Royal Variety Club at Brighton’s Grand hotel. Brian first entered the Pride arena way back in the 60’s having just two floats at the end of the Brighton festival parade, of course Gay Pride has now gone from strength to strength with the odd hic-up and drama on route. Brian’s always been very involved in local life in Brighton including politics; we would not have enough pages here to mention it all.
